Layered granola - so easy!

Place all of the ingredients in a sheet pan and let the oven do the work.

What you need:

6 cups old-fashioned oats

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1/3 cup honey

1/2 cup brown sugar

5 Tablespoons butter

1 Tablespoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup nuts (walnuts or almonds or pecans

1 cup dried sweetened cranberries

In a large cookie sheet, place the oats. Sprinkle the oil, honey, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, vanilla, nuts, and cranberries all over the oats.

Place in a 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. Stir to mix the layers. Put the granola back in the oven again for 5 minutes. Stir again. During this step, try to smoosh any chunks of brown sugar. Then put the pan of granola into the oven for 5 more minutes. Stir one more time and allow to cool.

Voila! Yummy granola that's super easy to make. And if you line the cookie pan with aluminum foil, you don't even have to do much clean-up.

Store the granola in a container with a lid. No need to refrigerate. Hide the container of granola so you get to eat all of it yourself.
